In Bengaluru I am staying with my friend Shashi. Today we did a trip with him and his flatmates Sachin, Nikhil, Pranav and Anay. We went to the Biligudda hill located only 20 km outside Bengaluru. We set off at 5 early in the morning on busy but not full roads. With all the speed bumps and due to Bengalurus size it took over 2 hours to leave the city. Then the scenery quickly changed.

After driving along a stony dirt road we reached the village of Savandurga. I find it strange eating spicy for breakfast. Still, the puliyogare rice we had there was delicious. We got some more snacks paired with chai, of course. Shashi payed the tax to my favourite animals, monkeys.

From left to right: Sachin and NikhilWith lots of effort we made our way up, while barefoot walking locals casually passed us to sell water or juice. We enjoyed great vistas and decided that that was enough before making it to the top. The sun was burning as we descended. After a break in the village we rode back to Bengaluru.
