In the state Rajasthan I first went to Udaipur. I was surprised of the pretty architecture. Especially the city palace and the Taj lake palace hotel looked fantastic.
Further, I was surprised by the number of tourists, Indian but especially non Indian. I stayed in a hostel and that gave me the nice chance to meet other travelers. I spent the day with two Australians Zack and Beck visiting the city palace, just walking around in the town and trying out the street food. I enjoyed sunset from a hill with a great view on the city with it's lakes and pretty buildings.
Next, I went to Jodhpur. I was impressed by the truly enormous fort.
From up there you could see the city with it's blue painted houses. I visited the memorial Jaswant Thada, but then decided I had done enough sight seeing. The next day I only spent at the market around the clock tower. I searched for a new coat since I had lost mine in Udaipur. No shop had anything in my size though (they would still tell me it fit perfectly).
Then I went to get my 14 hour bus to Delhi. All the time I was only hoping, nobody would join me in the already too small cabin. Luckily I got to keep it to myself for the entire ride.
